Mum called just before the start of the Grand National yesterday (on which I lost an insignificant amount of money – I know I can’t afford it, but my Dad was a racehorse enthusiast and the Grand National is a tradition for us). She said she had been hanging out the washing and was fed up with her peg bag being on the other end of the washing line to where she was. She put in a formal request for a peg apron.
So today, after I had finished my typing duties, I decided to upcycle a very 80s pillow case
and make her a super-frilly girly peg apron, as requested. (Well not exactly as requested, to be honest, she never mentioned frills, but I just couldn’t help myself). That’ll teach me for watching The Stepford Wives again…
I hope she’s not too embarrassed to wear it!
It’s lovely. You are a good daughter π
Thank you Bonnie! She’s a good mother too!
Love it! So cute and I’m sure she’ll love it too. π
